About Us

Director’s Message

It’s easy to say, “I can do it”. But those who persevere don’t just say it – they do it and they live it. Success for me is still a distant reality and there are miles to go before I sleep.

We cultivate talents and genius here but I certainly believe persistence and determination alone are omnipotent ingredients for Advait Infratech. It is with this belief that I planted the seed of Advait Infratech Private Limited in 2009. In the last decade, we have had a remarkable journey. From a trading and consultancy company, we have moved to be marketing pioneers in manufacturing and EPC operations.

With Advait getting listed on the MSME Board of Bombay Stock Exchange in 2020, we have taken a huge leap in our operations and performance. With the brilliant team at Advait, we aim to be a world-class leader in businesses that enrich lives and contribute to nations in building infrastructure through sustainable value creation whilst creating benchmarks in the field of power transmission, renewable energy, and telecommunication.

About Fuel Cells

Fuel cells are electrochemical devices that convert chemical energy directly into electrical energy. Fuel cells primarily use hydrogen and methane as fuels, which can be derived from renewable sources such as biomass, wind, and solar power.
Compared to traditional combustion-based technologies, fuel cells are far more efficient. Additionally, they are environmentally cleaner as they generate only water and heat as byproducts, providing a sustainable power generation option.
India has set an ambitious target of achieving 450 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030. However, the intermittent nature of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power makes it challenging to meet the energy demands of a growing economy like India. It can complement renewable energy sources by providing reliable and continuous power. It can also be used for backup power, especially in remote areas without electricity access.
Hydrogen fuel cells have the potential to power cars, homes, and even entire cities, without producing harmful emissions. But how do we produce hydrogen in an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective way? Enter into the world of Green Hydrogen electrolyser and fuel cell technology.

The Relevance of Fuel Cells in Indian Market

In the energy sector, fuel cells have the potential to play a significant role in meeting India’s increasing energy demand, while reducing its dependence on imported fossil fuels. India is the world’s third-largest consumer of crude oil and the fourth-largest energy consumer, with a rapidly growing economy expected to drive significant increases in energy demand in the coming years.
Currently, the use of fuel cells in India is limited primarily to certain applications, such as backup power for telecom towers, remote power generation, and material handling equipment. However, the Indian government has recognized the potential of fuel cells as a clean energy source and has taken several initiatives to promote their use in the country.
In 2022, the Indian government launched the National Hydrogen Energy Mission (NHEM), which aims to promote hydrogen as a fuel and establish India as a leader in Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology. The NHEM has set a target of 3.5 GW hydrogen fuel cell capacity by 2030.

Advantages of fuel cells for India’s sustainable energy needs

Fuel cells provide many advantages for India. Some of these are:
Fuel cells have emerged as a promising solution for India’s sustainable energy needs. With their clean and efficient energy production, versatility, and use of renewable fuel sources, fuel cells could provide a reliable and sustainable energy source for India’s growing economy. Moreover, the widespread adoption of fuel cells can help India reduce its carbon footprint and achieve its goal of becoming a sustainable and low-carbon economy. As the technology continues to develop and improve, it is expected to generate even more innovative applications. With the potential for creating new opportunities for economic growth and job creation, Green Hydrogen electrolyser and fuel cell technology offers a bright future for the renewable energy sector. In April 2023, Advait Infratech signed an MoU with Jiangsu HuaDe Hydrogen Energy Technology, a company in hydrogen fuel cell technology based in China. The intent is to collaborate on setting up a fuel cell manufacturing facility in Gujarat, India, with the design developed by HuaDE. The technology will remain with HuaDe, and Advait will be the manufacturer of the fuel cell systems in India. The aim of this collaboration is to capture a sizable market of pure hydrogen and city gas-based fuel cell systems in India. The fuel cell manufacturing facility in Gujarat will use the latest technology and equipment to manufacture fuel cell systems that meet the highest quality standards.

MoU signed: Advait Infratech and Jiangsu HuaDe collaborate on hydrogen energy

Advait Infratech has inked an MOU with Jiangsu HuaDe Hydrogen Energy Technology, a Chinese business specializing in hydrogen fuel cell technology. The goal is to work together to establish a fuel cell production factory using HuaDE’s design in Gujarat, India. HuaDe will continue to own the technology, and Advait will produce fuel cell devices in India. The goal of this partnership is to gain access to India’s huge market for fuel cell systems based on city gas and pure hydrogen. To produce fuel cell systems that satisfy the highest quality standards, the Gujarat Fuel cell manufacturing facility will make use of the most recent tools and technology. “We are excited about the potential it holds for the future of clean energy solutions in India,” said Shalin Sheth, MD, Advait Infratech .

Solar Services

Advait is strategically positioning itself as a mid-size solar EPC company. Advait will facilitate their clients by installing the required capacity of the Renewable Energy (Solar) plant to fuel the Green Hydrogen plant to produce the Green Hydrogen.
